Registration to Take Place in February- Registration opens February 1st
The Lyncourt UFSD is preparing for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration for the 2019-2020 school year. All students born on or before December 1, 2014, are eligible to register for kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year. Students born on or before December 1, 2015, are eligible to register for pre-kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year.

Step 2: Attend one of the Registration Dates listed below:
UPK and K Registration Dates:
Please note all registration days will take place at the District Office-no appointment necessary:
February 12th from 1 p.m. -5 p.m. Rescheduled to February 26th 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
February 21st and 22nd from 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
March 12th from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Registration must be done in person by the resident parent or legal guardian, at one of the times listed above. (No appointment is necessary during dates and times listed above.) The student does not need to attend.
Step 3: Please bring in the following documents when you attend one of the open Registration Dates on Feb. 12th, or Feb. 21st, 22nd, or March 12th:
During your Step 3 visit, we will review the registration packet you previously filled out and all the required documentation. It is important to note that all registration forms must be submitted and approved before a spot will be held for a student.
- Birth Certificate
- Recent Immunization Records.
- Previous School Records if applicable. If your child received special education services, please bring a copy of a current IEP/504 plan.
- Custody Agreement and/or Court Order (if applicable)
- Proof of Residency i.e. current lease or rental agreement, tax bill, pay stub, etc.
- Parent/guardian Photo Identification, i.e. license, employer ID, etc.
On March 6th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be an informational meeting about our UPK and Kindergarten program at Lyncourt School.
UPK Age Requirement: According to New York State regulations, Section 3602-e of Education Law defines an "eligible child" as a child who resides within a UPK participating school district and who is four-years of age on or before December 1st or otherwise eligible to attend kindergarten the following school year. (There is a maximum of 36 student spots for pre-k.)
Please note that children that attend a private, parochial or charter school must also register at the district office.
