Physical Fitness Linked to Student Performance

There is a misconception that physical fitness is just for one's overall health and wellbeing.  We now know that is now true.  According to new research from Michigan State University, middle-schoolers who were in good physical shape also performed better on standardized tests and received higher grades.

Being in good shape brings more benefits than just good grades.  Children who are fit also grow up to be fit adults.  That means that they are less likely to be stymied and/or hobbled by ill health when they are older.  This sets them up for future success.
