UPK 3/4 and Kindergarten Program Information

Dear UPK and Kindergarten Parents and Guardians, Get your calendars ready!!!

We are pleased to announce dates for 2022-2023 Universal Pre-K and Kindergarten registration for children living in the Lyncourt Union Free School District. Below you will find detailed information about how you can register your child, and information about upcoming events to learn more about the Early Learning programs we offer at Lyncourt. These are both full day programs. 

Families who responded to the UPK 3 Interest Survey in February, we have sent registration materials to your home in the mail.

Families who have children already attending Lyncourt School, we have sent registration materials in the mail.

If you need REGISTRATION MATERIALS - Please contact Marilyn Howley at 315-455-7571 or by email mhowley@lyncourtschool.org to have materials sent in the mail or feel free to stop by school to pick up a packet.

 

Lottery Process

 

Per the state, the full day pre-k openings are available on a lottery basis. Families interested in full day pre-k must register by June 1, 2022 for the lottery drawing.

 

A drawing will be held for the 36 full day UPK 4 and 18 UPK 3 placement from all families submitting an application. The selected families will have until June 30th, 2022 to accept the enrollment or the slot will be given to another child.

 

Enrollment Update:   Lyncourt still has spots available in both UPK 4 and UPK 3 programs, Please register now.  These will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
