Student Council Candidates

This morning the middle school students and staff gathered in the auditorium to hear speeches from the 7th and 8th graders who would like to be elected to student council.  Though three positions are running unopposed, one has three candidates.  Our six candidates gave very good speeches...making the decision difficult for the students.  

We want to say a big thank you to Mrs. Courtney Wood and Mrs. Mellissa MacCollum who are the Student Council Advisors.  They put in a tremendous amount of work organizing and helping to prepare students for elections, as well as, guiding them in organizing all the many functions our student council does.  This would not be possible without their assistance.

The elections are tomorrow and we wish them the best of luck!
