Lyncourt School’s 1st Walk-a-thon

The Lyncourt School Staff & PTO are holding a walk-a-thon fundraiser! It will be held in the school gymnasium during the school day on March 26th and
27th . The money raised will fund our Positivity Project initiatives in the elementary and middle school. The Positivity Project is a nationwide
campaign to promote the mindset that “other people matter.” The Positivity Project supports our character education in identifying our own character
strengths and recognizing the strengths of others.

To help support Lyncourt School’s outstanding programs and activities that support social and emotional learning and character education, we need to
reach our goal of $3000. We can do this if every student raises at least $10. Participation is EASY! Students will walk, jog, or run around the large
gymnasium during their special area time on either March 26th or March 27th, when their class is assigned. A pledge form is attached so your child can
seek donations from family members, friends, and neighbors for each lap they complete. Students may also collect flat pledges.
Pledge forms and money will be collected up through April 5th . Encourage your child to collect as many donations as possible to reach their fundraising
goal. Prizes will be awarded to the students who raise the most money during our school wide meeting on April 12th!
Please see some of the offered prizes on the back of this form.
Thank you for your help and support!
